You should take admission in a private college rather than dropping a year.

If you think that you can crack JEE Mains next time then drop a year, otherwise, you can take private college.

Well, if you really want to enter into an NIT, IIT or any well-reputed government college then you should drop a year or else join a private college with a good reputation.

If you think that you can crack JEE Mains then you should drop a year. Your 12th percentage and marks are not good enough to get a good college. You should drop a year if you think you can crack the exam. You have to work very hard. Give your best. Don't lose hope.

Obviously, if you are sure that you can clear JEE Mains in the next try, you should drop a year, but if you are in hesitant then don't waste your precious year.

If you think you can study hard and crack the exam next year than only take a drop, otherwise, go for private colleges, because there is no use of taking a drop and wasting your one year if you are not ready to study hard.

It would be better if you opted for a private college. Preparing for JEE is a hard task and requires massive effort and dedication. Look for a good college and you will be able to shape your career.
