The college's importance is based on the branch. Like NIT Trichi and others are good for CSE while MNIT is good for mechanical.
Before getting into any college kindly consider your desire. What interests you! If you are not getting the answer then choose CSE.
There are a number of opportunities in this field. While other fields such as mechanical and electronics are also good. But it can only provide you with a life settling job after the years of B.Tech. These branches demand skills and rigorous experience.
