I have got 92.83 percentile in jee mains 2020. Can I get cs in lpu without giving lupnest?

    I am happy to See your interest at LPU for the admission. Whereas I would like to tell you that if a student has a qualified JEE exam with 92.83 percentiles can get admission at LPU. Here are the eligibility criteria for B.Tech Aerospace at Lovely Professional University- LPU
    Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or Joint Entrance Examination Main can apply for the admission.     You don't need to give LPU nest for getting admission in LPU but if you give LPU nest then you can get a good scholarship amount in your fees so it is better to apply for LPU nest and try to get good score. moreover you have good percentile in JEE mains and 12th so you make get also a lump sum amount of scholarship based on those marks but LPU nest marks carry a hefty amount of scholarship so giving LPU nest is a better choice. In LPU, CSE branch has the most number of students so be prepared for competition and study well for your LPU nest exams.

    The eligibility criteria for B.tech CSE is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2 , or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPUNEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
    Therefore, you can proceed with your admissions.

    Due to the prevailing situation i.e. COVID-19, the admissions 2020 is being done online and the eligibility conditions are a bit relaxed.
    The eligibility for B.Tech is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
    LPUNEST is exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.

    Yes, you can take admission in B.Tech CSE programme on the bases of JEE Mains Percentile. If a candidate has the 80 percentile or more, he/she is exempted from the LPUNEST. Due to COVID-19, LPU has introduced some changes in the B.Tech Programme Admission. You can appear for the Special Schedule Counselling on the bases of JEE Mains 2020 scores.
    The Special Schedule Counselling will be conducted online. This Special Schedule of counselling will help the students with existing score of JEE (Mains) to confirm their admissions.     With 92.83 percentile in JEE Mains and score of 83 % makes you eligible for admission in cs but if you also write LPUNEST you can get a scholarship and even improve the scholarship.

    Yes,you can get admission in Lovely Professional University in CS program.
    FYI:- I would like to tell you that this year LPU announced a Special Schedule For Councelling for B.tech who appeared for JEE Examination (January) ot students who qualified LPUNEST Schedule 1. If you are Interested to appear for this Benefit then you must apply before 20th April. And the Admissions date is 25April to 30th April.
    Hurry up and apply as soon as possible so that you avail maximum benefit.
