I have got approx. 1 lakh rank in JEE Mains. Can I get admission in a prestigious college for engineering?

I have also given JEE Advanced.

    Not into a good NIT or any of the IIIT's. Try the state government or autonomous colleges that will help as by putting home state quota can give you much preference. Best of luck.

    See, NIT, IIIT is not possible. But, you can try for state government colleges, and see their cutoff or any other exam they take. Just Google some colleges other than NIT IIIT. Hope that helps.

    According to your rank, there are less chances of getting a NIT. I think you should try one more time with better preparation. Have a good day.

    Look, for Joint Seat Allocation Counselling-
    Registrations for JoSAA 2018 will be open tentatively from the second week of June 2018. All eligible candidates, who have qualified JEE Main or JEE Advanced examination will have to register themselves for JoSAA 2018 tentatively till the final week of June 2018. Along with registration, the candidates will also have to fill and lock their college and course choices.
