    Hi,
You can further classify music into the sections of classical, rock, jazz, etc.
You can opt to pursue short term and long term courses in music. Music is often taught at the primary and secondary school levels, but in order to take up music as a profession, you will have to opt for this course at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.
Practice in your choice of musical instrument or choice of music genre is the best way to prepare for the audition test in career courses in music. The written test and personal interview test the candidate's knowledge of music.
