I have got mechanical at SMVDU-Katra. How are the placements? Should I go for it or try in CSAB spot round for a better college?

Placements across board in different engineering colleges in India is a cause of concern. May be due to this, there is appreciable reduction in intake of students and thousands of seats are remaining unfilled. In view of this I would like to advise you that please go ahead with spot round for seat in a better ranked college. Of course we are expecting a great future four years from now and hence you should not worry much about placements at the moment. Best wishes to you.
