Hi,
S.M.U is U.G.C approved and hence you can look for jobs in IT industry (both public and private sector).
For immediate help, register yourself with various job portals like Naukri.com, Times Jobs, Monster, etc. and also constantly go through Employment News.
Also there are various parameters

yes you are eligible with SMU degree but the selection in job is based on your skills and knowledge.

But it deends on you how to impress them
may be with your experiance or with your +ve attitude...
