i have heard of people getting fresher's package as 16 lac per annum from nits ?????????what's different about them

this includes pf, medical, dress, shoes, expenditure on training, leave travel allowances, equivalent amount of Earned leave, conveyance allowances, insurance ----mean to say whatever company does expenditure on them. this is known as cost to company. But then also 16 lacs is too high. on average 6

its Totally rubbish that students get 16 lakhs per annum from NITs. the Average package in NITs are 3.5 - 5.0 lakhs Per Annum . Even IITs Students doesnt able to get 16 laks per annum . IITs also have averge package of 5.0 - 6.0 lakhs per annum.
