I have heard that LPU is very big. Is it true?

Lovely Professional University has become one of the three Indian universities to have secured a place in the Top 200 in the World in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021. It has been ranked at the 2nd the highest position among all the Indian universities in its debut year itself. I have studied in LPU, lived in hostel. So, I am eligible to answer this question in better way. LPU is not only the largest university of the country but also the university with the most diverse student population. Learning in LPU will make you a truly global citizen. Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 200 programs. LPU campus is spread over 600+ acres. Recognised by UGC and is also a member of AIU The first time I visited the campus I had no idea how big the campus would be, I want prepared to witness such a huge walk down but later got used to it. I would say be prepared to witness muscle pain in initial few days if you are not used to physical exercise on regular bases. It provides all the facilities inside campus, let it be from restaurants, eateries, grooming facilities, ATMs, bowling alley, hospital, banks, and post-offices, Hospitals are available. LPU has its own 8 storey mall which has shops for literally everything including gadgets and a departmental store like WH SMITH LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World. LPU is growing it's size every year. They have taken a lots of lands around the campus and they are expanding every year. In my opinion it is more than 1000 acres by now. Because 7 years back they used to tell us it was 600acre campus, but I have seen the sheer size they grown into now. If you have visited 57 block then I sure you came to know about how big s campus is. Although Campus is really attractive, Definitely you will fall in love with the campus. I am sure you will never feel regret after taking admission in LPU.

Yes, you heard it right. LPU campus is very huge covers more than 600 acres. The infrastructure is very beautiful. Any person can fall in love with the natures beauty which LPU provides. LPU is a well renowned private university in India. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. In LPU students come from across the globe I. e. national or international students come to LPU for further studies. Even in the events which are conducted depicts the diversity as students represents their culture, through which we learn alot. LPU has a diverse crowd from all over the world. Interaction with such elite and diverse crowd only helps you grow your knowledge regarding their culture, traditions and improve academically. You can also apply for an education loan from within the campus. YES! The university has their own Education Loan Assistance Cell to help you out with the admission. Can honestly say, the best thing is the students accommodation. All the hostels are well built with all facilities and managed security. Campus security is hi-tech along with 5000+ CCTV cameras which are 24*7 monitored by the guards for our safety.

Yes, you have heard absolutely right that LPU is big. Being alumni of LPU, I am witness to this statement. LPU is spread over 600+ acres of campus and 1200+ acres of Agricultural Land having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come there across the world which made me feel like in a foreign country around 70+ countries. While choosing the best university, I decided to choose LPU and I am really very happy with my decision as I can proudly say that I am LPUian. Let's have a look at why I have chosen LPU for my higher studies Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: I got maximum scholarship while studying there. LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students who have a good academic record, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. I will be delighted to tell you that YES, LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World and is spread in 600 acres of land. I have spent my most amazing 5 years in this lush green campus. LPU Campus is a complete world in itself, having 30,000+ students, including around 2000 foreign students from 39 countries, and 4500+ faculty/staff. It is indeed a very lush green campus with all the facilities of the city - in one campus! Tentatively 20,000 students are residing inside the campus hostel and apartments only. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay, LPU's residential facilities are the best to be availed. The campus has all the necessary facilities which we expect at our home: Indoor Stadium Sports Facility with a swimming pool, badminton courts, squash, gyms. LPU even has a University hospital with 24*7 availability of ambulance. More than 20 Lacs book in the Central Library. Not just this, LPU even has a Central Mall with all the necessary stores for purchase of books and stationary, gifts, Electronics, Apparels, Dominos, Dine ins, Bakeries, and of-course a FUNZONE with fun games like Pool, Super bowl etc. The most fun part is concerts and various events which take place at LPU's campus gran stage. Various events like Coke Studio, Campus Princess, Marathons, One India, One World, GoKarting, Fanfest etc. Keeps a zeal alive among LPU students. There was not even a single moment of doubt or concern for me and my parents when it came to security of students. Campus has thousands of CCTV cameras installed inside with 24*7 availability of security guards. Yes it is. Through out my academic career in LPU, I never saw any single when there was no construction in LPU. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a multi-faculty institution offering 145+ programs in Regular and ODL mode, in a state-of-the-art hi-tech campus. LPU is very big. Lovely Professional University is the single the biggest-campus university in the northern part of the country situated in Punjab and is well connected by rail, road, air, etc. The University is renowned for its massive infrastructure and resources. It has a range of more than 600 + acres and caters to 30,000 + students offering 200 + programs. The elegance of the campus is going to make you fall in love. The students from all states of India and over 40 countries of the world. All facilities are provided to students and staff at the campus. The LPU is a town in itself. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). What you have heard about LPU is absolutely true. The campus is indeed very huge. It is "like a city within a city". LPU Is the biggest single campus University in Northern India (600+ Acres). LPU campus is having all advanced facilities & infrastructures (Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts & restaurants with International cuisines, Mess & Canteen - both veg & non-veg, Hostel Facility, Gaming Points etc. ). Almost for any of your needs you need not to go outside of the campus.
