I have heard that PGDM have low importance in any other country than MBA is it true. ?

    Hello,
    Yes, a PGDM isn't recognised much in foreign countries as compared to an MBA. However, a PGDM pursued from a reputed college (e. g. SP Jain, MDI, etc. ) is surely valued there.

    Yes, it is true PGDM has low importance in other country than MBA. MBA expands to Master of Business Administration and PGDM is post graduate Diploma in management. Actually both of this are almost same. The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (It means that it is not affiliated to any universities) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Degrees can be offered only by universities. Top Premier Indian Institutes like IIM, XLRI offer PGDM, not MBA. Unfortunately people say it as MBA from IIM, or from MBA is internationally recogni

    No, that's not true everywhere. It totally depends on you college where you have done this course.
