Both B.Tech CSE & IT degrees are equally good. CSE graduates have a minor edge over IT graduates. CSE graduates get both Apps and System development job. Indian IT industry give only Apps development job to IT graduates. B.Tech CSE graduates may also get little better CTC in comparison to IT graduates if they are from reputed Engineering colleges.

Hello brother. First of all there are many courses in IT and CS. The main two subjects are SOFTWARE Enjineering and HARDWARE Enjineering. Software enjineering involves different types of software making on different platforms like Java, C++, .NET, etc. So, I would like you to choose the course as per your interest (choose interest with most Interest). AND don't forget to Upvote my answer. Ok. Bab-Bye.

There is not much difference between them. Information technology mainly deals with the software side and computer science course deals with both software and hardware. But if you are passionate about computers go for any.
Don't worry much about the difference, no company is going to deny interview because of the difference between CS or IT.
