I have just passed my 12th board exams with 84.5% marks.. i want to do B.tech in IT.. Someone told me that IT is losing its scope.Need help.

Everyone in my family wants me to chose EC but i'm not at all interested in EC.Everyone says that IT is a tough field for girls.What should i do? Should i select the one which i like or should i go for EC?

Chandana, IT has Recessions & Booms which impact campus placements. But IT Professional who is passionate still had jobs in times of recession and still been paid lucrative pay. so, don't look at current treads and choose a career. Career should be your passionate areas of technology. ECE is alway
