I have myopia 2.25 D. Am I eligible for NDA? If yes, how many chances do I have as per my DOB:- 20 Dec.1999?

The minimum qualification required for Indian Army wing, Navy and Air Force is as follows. Eligibility for Indian Army: * The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognised board. * The appearing candidates can also apply. Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force: * Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Hi Vikrant, As per the medical standard for the NDA examination, you will be eligible for Indian Navy and Indian Army but not Indian Air Force, provided you qualify the below-mentioned conditions: 1. A candidate should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. 2. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. 3. A candidate must have good binocular vision. 4. The colour vision standard will be (CPIII) for Army. Vision standard for Naval candidates: Uncorrected without glass 6/9 Corrected with glass 6/6 Limits of Myopia -0.75 Limits of Hypermetropia +1.5 Binocular vision III Limits of colour preception I If you qualify the above condition, you can apply for the examination.
