I have myopia 2.25 D. Am I eligible for NDA? If yes, how many chances do I have as per my DOB:- 20 Dec.1999?

The minimum qualification required for Indian Army wing, Navy and Air Force is as follows.
Eligibility for Indian Army:
* The candidates want to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent exam from a well-recognised board.
* The appearing candidates can also apply. Eligibility for Indian Navy and Air Force:
* Those seeking for Indian Navy and Air Force must have passed their 12th/appearing (10+2 pattern) from a recognized board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. All the best. -
Hi Vikrant,
As per the medical standard for the NDA examination, you will be eligible for Indian Navy and Indian Army but not Indian Air Force, provided you qualify the below-mentioned conditions:
1. A candidate should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses.
2. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism.
3. A candidate must have good binocular vision.
4. The colour vision standard will be (CPIII) for Army.
Vision standard for Naval candidates:
Uncorrected without glass 6/9
Corrected with glass 6/6
Limits of Myopia -0.75
