I have no internship. I think I can not do so with CAT preparation. Is it required to get a chance in IIMs?
I am a fresher and I am physics (Hons) student. I want to appear in CAT '19. Is work experience or internship needed to get a chance in IIMs?

Having work experience and being a fresher have their own advantages and disadvantages, so it doesn't make much difference. Yes, the work experience people might come up with a solution to a problem, they have actually faced in their work life by the same can be done by a fresher, if they are avid readers. Yes, you can get into an IIM if you don't have work experience a good every year are fresher's and if the interviewer finds you fit, you'll have a very good chance.
