See, if you have strong maths, then it will really help you in coding and making logic, but if you really want to do try with BCA instead of B.Tech.

You should go for BCA because some of the colleges can admit students without mathematics.

If you don't have maths in 12th class, that's not a problem. You can still become a good programmer. You can join BCA course to start your programming career. Maths help you to develop logic in programming, but up to some extent coding is not everything. You can do lot more practice and patience to be a good programmer.
