I have obtained a law degree for BA LL.B. Can I join in chartered accountancy course?

    Yes, you can practice as a CA after passing the final examinations and CA institute never bars a person to study any other course. All you need is to make sure that you start you LL.B. Course after completing CA and also inform ICAI about the same. However you cannot pursue both simultaneously. The major source of earning in tax practice is litigation. However, Chartered Accountants cannot represent their clients in High Courts and above. In such cases they need to hire a lawyer. The lawyer takes five times the fee, even though all the work has to be done by the CA. If you are a qualified CA. Nothing bars you from doing LL.B. *As per C

    Yes, you can join CA course after LLB and it is a very good combination in the corporate world.

    Hello, You can certainly appear for the CA course provided you have scored 55 per cent in your Bachelor's degree. Chartered Accountancy is professional who manages company's Finance and keep the tax obligation of company as less as possible. Graduate from recognised university can even join the course from executive level (IPCC) which is second level of the course.

No, candidates do not need to create fresh login for every attempt of CA Foundation exam. Students can register for the CA Foundation exam with the login created for the first time. The same login ID remains valid for the entire course. Students must note that to apply for the exam, they have to create a login at SSP portal of the ICAI exam and not on the home website. The SSP Portal login is valid upto 3 years for Foundation. Candidates can revalidate their login upon expiry by paying INR 300.

CA Foundation form correction window opens the next day of application form submission deadline. The form correction remains open for 2 days during which candidates can login to SSP portal and edit course group, test city and medium of exam. No other field of the CA Foundation application form is editable. If any student wishes to update their photo, they can do so at the SSP portal but before the application form submission.

It is advised to preserve the CA Foundation admit card even after the exam. The admit card may be required for reference or for any query in the future. Candidates should preserve all the documents of CA exams until their course is completed.

The link to download CA Foundation admit card will be available till the exam date only. After the last exam of the particular session, the hall ticket download link will be deactivated. Thus, students must save their CA Foundation admit card as a soft copy as well as a hard copy.
