Hello Vikash, One can appear for entrance exam while having appeared for qualifying exam. The admission will depend on scoring minimum marks prescribed for qualifying exam and passing the entrance exam. If you have a backlog in qualifying exam, you have obviously not passed it. Yes, you are eligible for admission. But, you need to provide backlog result before August.
