i have passed 12 class with 85%overall and84% in pcm and 93%in pcb.in which stream i have to go mbbs/engg

i got 407/960 in kerala engineering entrance and 4800 rank in kerala medical entrance.but everybody says that medicine topics are challenging ones.morover,taking mbbs itself doesn't have any value and getting md is also difficult.so in this aspect is it better to go engg.can btech guarantee a job.
