    Interested aspirants for the course are required to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
    10+2 completed from a recognised educational board
    10+2 must be completed in Science Stream
    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English are compulsory

    The duration of B.Sc Physics is 3 years in most of the universities which are divided into 6 semesters. The course can also be pursued in distance learning mode for 6 years duration. Those universities that do not follow the semester system, have 3 terms which carry out an examination at the end of each year. Most of the colleges in India which offer B.Sc. Physics provide direct admission to candidates on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2, which is determined by cut-off lists generated by each college. The student can seek admission if his marks match with the cut off announced by a college

    There are two ways to take admission. One is the direct admission and the other one is through qualifying entrance exam. B.Sc Physics is an undergraduate programme, the minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English as compulsory subjects. There are many good institutes in India from where you can do B.Sc Physics. A few good options are:
    Indian Institute of Astrophysics-Bengaluru,
    National Centre for Radio Astrophysics-Pune,
    Raman Research Institute, Institute of Physics-Bhubaneswar, Orissa,
