I do not think that someone who is this much concerned about his exams and interest in food technology from LPU will not get admission.
Don't worry as there are a number of seats and you may get a fair chance to join LPU. It has is its own test and not a national level exams for multiple institutions like JEE.
  • Dear Navneet, it depends upon how well you will perform in your LPUNEST exam.

Go easy. You performed well. LPU NEST will be of 400 marks. Study English grammar well. Suggested CBSE class 8th and class 9th English grammar books. Parts of speech will be important. Manage the time well. There is no negative marking, so attempt all the answer. Try to score around 180, as that would be easy. Practice some questions and develop a habit for 3 hours sitting on your exam time. Best of luck.

Great that you scored 78% in +2.On inquiring from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that you need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST but LPUNEST will be exempted in case you have scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.
As you have scored 78%, you will have to appear in LPUNEST and the same test will be considered for scholarship as well. Due to COVID-19, the university's taking remotely online proctored test from home.
Apart from LPUNEST, LPU promotes follow
