i have passed diploma in mechanical engg from west bengal university of technology which is aicte aproved,now i got 69% marks overall,without givint any lateral exam how can i do b tech in mechanical engg???????????

yes you can there are many colleges in india which are reputed as well where you can get admission through lateral entry in 2nd yr.

Hi Abhishek,
To get entry to a B.Tech programme through Lateral Entry you need to appear for an Entrance Examination as there is no direct admission in the lateral entry programme.
