    Hi,
    The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
    It has three-step process i.e.
    Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
    Main Exam (Mains), and
    Interview.
    The eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are:
    A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
    Holds a graduate degree form recognized university.
    Age between 21-30 years.
    For preliminary test preparation , you should be aware of all the current affairs, plus you should prepare well for general knowledge, you should develop a habit of reading news papers, magazines and journals daily, as this will help you to pre

    Prepare for general study book you can prefer tata macgraw hill or spectrum book , Maths book arihant publication , or 6-10 class ncert books , Read CSR magazine purchase any GK book for every year , or you can download monthly current affairs from Internet and also read CSR magazine updae current information , visit civilserviceindia.com for other information

    Hi,
    Well the minimum eligibility is to have a graduation degree. So clear your 10+2 first and then go further with your bachelors. You have good 5 years in hand to prepare.
    You can keep yourself update with recent trends. you can refer Competition Success Review for updates on current affairs. I would also suggest you to constantly check the UPSC site which gives previous years question papers which will help you in you preparation.Also find attached an article link tinyurl.com/yjr8dg8 to acknowledge you more on the same.
    I would suggest you to spend quality time everyday by reading journals, magazines, newspapers, etc.
