I have passed out 10 2 Non Medical. I want to pursue Engg/other course which will be pathway to enter army. Where can i join that course.
I was told about Army electrical and mechanical Engg, Military Engg. From where i can do these courses, What is the eligibility. Kindly provide me all details. I am from Chandigarh. My contact no is 09780017828. Regards

Hi Rahul,
There are three options you can choose from for joining the engineering cadre of the Indian Army. The first is after 10+2 .With a minimum aggregate of 75 % in PCM you are eligible to apply for entry to the technical branch. You should be between 16 and 19 years of age. Advertisements app

if u have science with maths at +2 level then u have many ways to go in army as engg. after +2 u can apply for TES SSB which is direct entry, u should have 70% & more in PCM with eng > 55%.
after B.Tech u can also join army as engg with special engg entry scheme.

You can do Engineering from any college and after passing the full engineering course you can enter into Army thru Military Engineer Services (MES). (read more about MES at http://mes.gov.in/index.php )
