Dear frnd,
If you are planning for your M.tech, then my suggestion to you is that you should apply in the reputed universities like DU, Amity, KU and all. These universities do have there own tests and you can get admission in them. Even I was lookin for M.Tech in nanotechnology from DU, and I saw

go for govt institutes, iits will be the best, nits and state level institute u know. check out NITTTRs, they have got good reputations for teaching and research streams.
