You have to give your preferences carefully. Once you lock your choices you can't change and also if you are allotted a choice of higher preference then you cannot choose or go for a lower preference after that. -

That's not possible in WBJEE once you have locked the choices, you will be given college according to your choice. In JEE counselling, you have the option of float and freeze where you can skip a college.
