I have RT in Chemistry. Can I still get admission in BTech?

<p>RT in Chemistry on your 12 th marksheet generally refers to Repeat Theory, whereby, you had failed in understanding the theory part of the Chemistry test. Although it may pass you overall in case you score sufficiently in other subjects/practicals, the eligibility criterion in several B.Tech courses, particularly in the best institutions such as IITs/NITs, stipulates you to have passed each of the subjects individually including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). You may be required to pass the compartment/improvement exam in Chemistry so as to meet B.Tech admission requirement in most colleges. Nonetheless, in some private universities different flexibility may be possible.</p>
