I have scored 48.73% marks in graduation. Can I get admission for MCA course in IGNOU?

<p>The eligibility is lenient at IGNOU. An aggregate of at least 50% in bachelor&rsquo;s degree is required by IGNOU for admission to MCA courses but they are also open to students who did not attain the required mark if they have relevant experience or degree in the same field such as Computer Science or IT or BSc. Although you obtained an average of 48.73%, it is still possible to apply for the admission process; however, one should prepare themselves for some rejection after the selection process. <p>The answer is both yes and no, if you are an reserved category student then you can get admission for MCA course in IGNOU; but if you are an general category candidate then you can not get admission for MCA course in IGNOU.&nbsp;The MCA admission eligibility has been given in detail below:</p><ul><li aria-level="1">Passed either BCA/BSC (Computer Science), BSc (IT), BE (CSE), BTech (IT), BTech (CSE), or BE (IT), with specializations at least <strong>50 percent for the general category.</strong></li><li aria-level="1"><strong>45 percent</strong>&nbsp;would be enough for the <strong>reserved category</strong> of applicants.</li><li aria-level="1">Other 3-year bachelor&rsquo;s degree with at least 45% score.</li></ul><p>Now, it is up to you to check in which bracket you fall.&nbsp;</p>
