I have scored 59% (PCM) and 63.6% in HSC. Do companies look for PCM marks individually during the B.Tech placements?

I have scored 42 marks in maths.

No, not at all. All companies will look into tour B.Tech percentage or CGPA. They will look your semester wise performance, grade etc. But no company have so much of time to look into your marks or percentage. They will start interacting with you. They will ask many questions and about yourself, knowledge, talent, skill, communication skill etc. So don't worry about the marks. But don't make it down very low also. Just maintain your marks. And clear all subject at first attempt only.
