I have scored 78.8% in board exam and scored 54.88 percentile in JEE Mains exam held in Jan 2019 can I get seat in NIT surathkal.

I am Karnataka candidate and I am obc candidate and my family's annual income is 22k.

Hi, your JEE Mains January percentile is quite low, there is only a limited chances for you to qualify the cutoffs. Moreover, if you belong to some SC or ST castes there would have been chances for you. Let's wait and see until the JEE April results get declared. I think you would have written it, r

Hello Varsha, Your percentage in the board examination is quite good, then what happened during JEE Mains examination? A percentile of about 55 is okay but definitely not very good for getting admission in NITs. It is expected that one should have a percentile which is above 80 will get admission
