I have scored 80.95 percentile in JEE Mains. Can sports quota help me to get a government engineering college?

I belong to the general category. Presently, I am studying in class 12th (Madhya Pradesh board). I have played lawn tennis at national and state level.

    If you seek to get admission in DU, then there is a sports quota, but if you want to get admission in an engineering college, then there is no sports quota.

    Sports skills doesn't matter in JEE, only your marks in JEE Advanced is considered.

    If you are talking about NIT/IIT, then probably sports quota will not help. You have to first clear the cutoff criteria then only you will get admission here. Now, talking about other state government colleges then yes, your sports quota can help you.
