If you are having a state domicile of Punjab then you should be getting admission over there.

Normally, the cutoff of Thapar University goes above 98 percentile. It is easier if you are from Punjab.

Thapar University 2022 cutoff for CSE was as follows. Usually, the required cutoff for CSE remains above 97 percentile. Getting admission is easier if you are from Panjab. Students from Panjab domicile get some relaxation. However, it doesn't usually go below 95 percentile.
