I have scored 94.95 in jee mains 2020 will I get admission in SPCE for B.Tech in mechanical engineering ?

Hello Rugved, You have stated that you have obtained about 95 percentile in JEE Mains. Then you go on to ask two questions. Firstly whether you will get admission in Sardar Patel College of Engineering at Mumbai based on this entrance exam and secondly about lateral admission in this same institution. Let me clarify. Admissions to all the engineering colleges in Maharashtra except perhaps IIT and NIT are based on the entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra called mht CET. You will get admission in in SPCE based only on this. Of course few seats may be reserved for what is called as national quota admission is based on JEE entrance but the seats are very limited and hence no one can predict whether one get admission on not. Second, lateral admissions are not given based on JEE Mains examination in Maharashtra. One simply have to register on the website of DTE for admission under this category.
