Yes, you can get in eastern NITs. But, they are not good and my suggestion is try to take Mettalurgy branch in good NITs. It has good placements and also, you can see the courses in NIT Rourkela. They have different programmes and through this rank you will get few of them.
My sincere suggestion is if you get any good local colleges that is good for placements and infrastructure go for it. Otherwise, opt for NITs only. -
You can get branches like biotech but not in the top 5 NITs atleast. You can get better branches in other NITs. -
