I have secured 53% marks in M. A.Sociology. But for UGC NET 55% is eligibility criteia.What should i do?

I have also done M.SC. in chemistry through Distance mode from university of Madras. But this is not valid in Jammu & Kashmir state what should I do? I am completely helpless. Please guide me How should I save my career I want to be a professor

Hi Meenu, If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for appearing in NET then it would not be possible to sit for this Entrance Examination, however, you can consider doing your M.Phil and then PhD which is another way to get into University/ College teaching, Apart from this if you are passion
