Dear Makarand,
Not possible to transfer to Aeronautical on the basis of Ist year Mech.
There are 3 Options to Become Aeronautical Engg
1) on the Basis of 12th with PCM you can go for AME course which is of 3 years and is diploma in Aeronautical. after that you can apply for AeSI Aeronautical Engg

It is some depend on university if your course in mech and Aeronitucal is same , then it may be possible to change but it is not in all college
