I heard from some where that LPU has swimming pools in campus. Is it true?

LPU has a swimming pool for the standards of the Olympic Swimming pools, and it is no ordinary Swimming Pool. It is an Olympic-Size, mind-blowing, and simply amazing Pool that is a dream come true for every aspiring swimmer. There are two more swimming pools in the indoor stadium of the University. The LPU Swimming pools facilities are available to all the students of the university and the students can opt for the swimming pool at the time of admission itself. These indoor swimming pools are massive in size and are kept clean by the University Staff regularly. The boys and girls will have separate indoor swimming pools. It also serves as a great facility for those who want to learn swimming, as it is accessible to all LPU students. It is located inside LPUs amazing Indoor Stadium where a student can practice a large variety of sports like Badminton, Basketball, Shooting, Boxing, and whatnot! LPU even conducts many National and International Swimming championships which witness the worlds the finest Swimmers compete against each other. Along with your studies, you can take up swimming as your hobby or favourite sport and emerge out to be competent and an all-rounder!

There are 3 swimming pools because they are used for different purposes for beginners, for experts and for events. Trainers are provided to the students who join the sports of swimming as a sports activity. In 2022, Day scholar fee for swimming is INR 6000 In 2022, hostelers fee for swimming is INR 4000. You can find the pool near to the BH - 8 Hostel.

LPU boasts a swimming pool that meets Olympic standards, and it's not your typical swimming pool. Every ambitious swimmer's dream comes true in this Olympic-Size, astounding, and all-around wonderful Pool. In the university's indoor stadium, there are two additional pools. All LPU students have access to the university's swimming facilities, and they can choose to use the pool when they apply for admission. These enormous indoor swimming pools receive frequent cleanings from university staff. There will be separate indoor swimming pools for males and girls.

LPU has 3 huge Olympic size swimming pools in the Indoor Stadium. Apart from that LPU is also having the best trainers to train students rightly and with full safety and security. The other facilities in the indoor stadium are- 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 6 Volleyball Courts, 6 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, Taekwondo arena, etc. Students can practice a variety of sports like Badminton, Basketball, Shooting, Boxing, or avail the GYM facility. The university ensures that apart from good academics student should also keep themselves fit.

Yes, you heard that right, LPU has in fact every kind of sports facility we students can ask for. LPU has Olympic size swimming pool and also a diving pool. Well LPU campus is literally very huge and covering 600+ acres of land. You'll get to SEE many kinds of facilities available there. LPU has even malls, gyms hostels, saloons, banks, atm, mac lavs, and many other things. LPU offers more than 200+ courses and that too with scholarships and as LPU has a good ranking and placement admission increases every year. Hi there, I am an alumnus of LPU. Yes, they have 2 Olympic size pools not only swimming pools they have much more than this. The main thing I have learned their time management and discipline. LPU does have a beautiful campus that is spread over 600+ acres of land which is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. I have many things that normal colleges do not have It has an A+ infrastructure and which is remarkable. All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and student, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 2 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM etc. The labs are well-equipped with the latest systems in place installed with up-to-date software, guided and monitored by the IT cell. The central library is equipped with millions of books for running courses as well as for extra studies. University Hospital caters for the medical needs of the university people with inbuilt pathological labs and physiotherapy services. A humongous ground located near the hostels ensures that each and everyone gets to access the sports and games which they want to play. The cricket, football and hockey fields can be cited along with the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts etc. The Division of Student Affairs ensures the cultural environment is maintained here. Yes it has. When I was studying in LPU, their indoor stadium was under construction. One of my friend from LPU told me that it is completed now. I have always thought that World-class infrastructure and learning resources are a major strength of LPU for creating a more conducive learning environment and ensuring holistic development of students. All classrooms/lecture/conference halls are equipped with LCD projectors/Wi-Fi connectivity /CCTVs/Mikes/other facilities to make teaching more engaging. -400+ well-equipped laboratories, Film/TV/sound studios including specialised labs like Aerodynamics, Molecular Biology & Tissue Culture, VLSI Design, Genetic & Bioprocess Engineering, CAD-CAM Microstructural Studies, Material Characterization-Molecular Spectroscopy among others. -Campus hospital with proper medical and paramedical staff and ambulances for health services.
