I hv cleared UGC NET with just 60.5 % .is this having an effect on my chances of getting job ia college ? do i have to get better % in this?

I hv cleared UGC NET in eco with just 60.5 %(the least %) .will this have an effect on my chances of getting job in a university ? do i have to try again to get better % in this?will the % of UGC NET matters or just qualifying is sufficient ? I got 69% in P.G and 71% in graduation.Plz. guide me.
