Good Question. You are defintely eligible for MSc in Animation. Inorder to learn the basics you can take up foundation class for 3 months if you are new to Animation. MSc may start directly the high end of Animation. ANITECH gives 3-4 months of 2 D and 3D foundations before MSC in Animation. MSc starts from Jan/Feb. Thus you can enroll now for MSc and start your foundation course from Nov. No addiitonal charges for this. You can stay in hostel in Bangalore. I am not sure about Indore. Being an Engineer makes the way to Animation Industry much easier as compared to other degree holder.
Generally people think Animation leads to Gaming and Cartoon etc. But apart from them Animation industry also includes entertainment, E-education, web designing visual communication, medical and defense.
a)Programmer : has main part of job here. And genarally Engineers with high level of proficiency are found here, because thing like- Artificial intelligence etc. are used here which can be perform by Computer engineers.
    b) Network Programmer: This part of work os also for Engineers, but some having good command over C. C++ can lead here.

Sure you can get PG Degree or Diploma on this basis. You may go for IIT-IDC, NID or other places near your home. You could even opt for a course and get on your way since Art doesn't care much for what paper you carry, more than what showreel you carry. Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their websi
