<p>The B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication at Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a 3-year program, divided into 6 semesters. To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks, including English, or an equivalent qualification. For those who haven't studied English as a subject, the requirement may be waived if the candidate has studied in an English medium school or similar program. There is a 5% relaxation for candidates from North-East states, Sikkim, Defence Personnel and their dependents, or wards of Kashmiri Migrants. The program fee is INR 80,000 per semester. LPU offers excellent placement opportunities, with the highest salary package of INR 10 Lakhs and an average package of INR 7.18 Lakhs for the top 10% of students.
