India is an IT outsourcing hub. Indian IT is maximum job creator for engineers in last decade. It is forcasted that IT will continue to be max job creating industry in next decade also. Therefore,Computer Science / IT is the best engineering as of day in term of job opportunities . Mechanical is ever green branch of engineering and will remain so. You can chose between CS and Mechanical as per your interest. -
All have their own value. Depending on your interest and how easily you can handle it.
In my view I would like mechanical and IT are good scope for easy jobs.
