Hi,
There is no need to hide anything, you can say that as you wanted to concentrate on your studies. It is better to be honest rather than hiding.

Sir, I completely understand your point. but I don't want to sit idle. I want to do some course like some skill development or certification. Kindly suggest accordingly.
