I like programming and electronics. Which engineering branch should I opt for in B.Tech?

I think you should go for computer science and engineering or electronics and communication engineering for B.Tech.

I will advice you to go for Computer Science and Engineering branch. B.Tech CSE is the most popular course among the students. After the completion of your degree in Computer Science Engineering, you can work in the field of database management, embedded systems, IT, telecommunication, multimedia, computer hardware and software implementation, computer hardware & software maintenance, gaming, web designing and other related industries. There are many engineering branches with high earning potential. However, computer Science engineering can be considered the best branch in engineering for the future. CSE is meant for programming and ECE is meant for both programming and electronics. So now coming to your question, if you love both, then you can go for ECE, but make sure about the placement before joining in any college. Being an ECE student, you can either go for core jobs or IT jobs, but being a CSE student you have to go for IT jobs only. So, if you really love electronics, you can go for electronics and communication engineering. I am also an ECE student, and I too love electronics and programming. So, take your decisions wisely.

If you like programming and electronics, then please go for electronics and communication engineering. Because, in CSE branch there is only programming. Bu, in ECE both are present.
