I live in Hyderabad. I am a 12 th pass girl. Which girls' college should I prefer for my further studies in B.Tech?

I got to know that G Narayanamma is the best girls' college in the city. I applied for it and I got a seat in the ECE branch, although I kept my first preferences as CSE and IT. I opted for second round of counselling. Will I be able to sit for the same?

Hello Alifa, Only when you pay fees for the allotment against your choice in the assigned college, you are able to opt for your better branch, but it may be in another college and it may not be girl's college. You have to weigh these pros & cons before deciding to opt for second round of counseling

B.E. / B.Tech

Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

M.E./M.Tech

Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
