I'll be giving the exams of my B.Com 1st-year in March & planning to join CAT coaching after it? Is it a good time to start its preparation?

    Yes, it is the time to start your preparation. You have enough time to prepare and also if you will consistently study for it, then you can definitely get good scores. You will be able to manage your time easily. You can join coaching institute or can do self-preparation.

Aspirants with any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. can get admission. Candidates also need to pass the GDPI round conducted by the institute for final selection.

To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill out the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2025 CAT form has to be submitted by a certain deadline, after which no application will be accepted. The CAT exam is always held on the last day of November, and the Official announcement will be made by the last date of July 30.

For admission to the MBA (or PGP) 2026 batch at IIM Nagpur, the CAT test will be conducted in the month of November. Aspirants of IIM Nagpur are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centers. The CAT exam will be held in three slots:

  • Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
  • Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

No, GAT and CAT are not compulsory for admission to the UG Diploma at ISAS Pune. CAT and GAT are basically for design courses. These entrance exams are widely accepted by NIFT for both UG and PG courses. ISAS International Beauty School grants admission to UG Diploma courses without the scores in entrance exams.
