You can apply for duplicate certificate. For this, first you need to get the registration number from school principal, last studied, then advertise in any two or three news papers that you lost your certificate with mentioning your registration number and year of passing etc.You also need an affidavit from judge / Notary. Pay the prescribed fees and submit it to Board
Please keep a copy of news paper advt and Affidavit and submit it to the engineering colleges. For getting eligibility certificate from university, 10 th certificate is not mandatory.

Apply for the duplicate mark sheet immediately. Meet your school Principal and follow his instructions. In the meantime enclose Xerox copy if you have that. If you don't have that also then don't fill the column where 10th class details are asked.Tell the truth to the engineering college authorities and show them the documents supporting your claim that you have lost your mark sheet and have applied for the duplicate one. All the best.
