I love maths but i've joined in Bipc as I was interested in becoming a doctor but after 1 whole year I know now that ive made a huge mistake

Not only was I feeling stressful, but also lost interests in subjects like botany and zoology. Ive talked with my parents and they are shifting me now from bipc to mpc (where ive still yet to decide what to do after 12th). Im making the correct decision. RIGHT?
