I'm a 42-year old woman with a Masters in English Literature. Am I eligible to give NET? Can I apply for NET in mass communication?

I completed my MA in English in 2000 and PGCTE in ELT.

    Hello, There is no age limit criteria to apply for the UGC NET Exam. Any one at any age can appear in the UGC NET Exam. To apply for the JRF Scholarship you need to be not more than 30 years of age. (35 years for the female and Reserved candidates). The UGC NET Exam is mainly conducted for the candidates from all age limit. The candidates more than the above age limit can apply for the Lectureship Posts at different colleges and Universities of India.
