I'm a clerk in Defence services (Indian Navy). I am doing mba from SMU to pursue post retirement career after 20 yrs service. I'll retire in Jan 2014. My target is business sectors in India. Pse, Suggest a suitable specialisation I should choose. Marketing / Retail Mgmt / Finance ?
Dear Ak Sahani, you being in administration section of IN is well versed by office management, filing, statement of cases, policies etc. You are not exposed to accounts and neither you can prove to be an effective marketing or retail man due to your defense background's straight forward nature. HR will be the area where not only your background will be helpful but also you will be able to excel. My suggestion is that you choose HR as specialization.
