I m a commerce student and I don't have maths in 12th. Can I give CTET paper 2 with maths and science?

<p>As you are a commerce student, you can take maths, but not Science. But, for the preparation of a particular exam, you can opt for these subjects.</p><p>The Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET is a test for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Central Government Schools. The CTET exam is divided into two papers: Paper 1 for teachers of classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for teachers of classes 6-8. For Paper 2, candidates are required to choose between two options:</p><p>Mathematics and Science: Candidates who choose this option will be tested on their knowledge of mathematics and Science for classes 6-8. Social Science: Candidates who choose this option will be tested on their knowledge of social Science for classes 6-8. Commerce students who are interested in becoming a teacher of classes 6-8 can choose the option of Social Science, because it includes subjects such as History, Civics and Geography etc. It's worth to note that, CTET exams are conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE and the CTET exam pattern, syllabus and eligibility criteria can change time to time.
