I'm a commerce student. For getting admission in LPU Punjab for B.Com , will I have to write LPU-NEST exam. Or how will I get into it ?

I would like to tell you that at LPU there is no need to give an entrance exam to get into this course but for maximum scholarship benefits that LPU offers you can give LPU NEST exam. You need to qualify B.Com. Course eligibility condition which demands- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent and can apply for admission directly. My own sister completed her graduation in the same stream at LPU so accordingly, I can tell you much about this university and how its demand is increasing among students to get into. B.Com (Hons) studies at LPU are good as far as I observed from my sister experience. In LPU students get an in-depth knowledge of banking and management courses. B.Com (Hons). Is a specialised courses which enables aspirants to gain adequate knowledge about the financial management and risks involved. Definitely you have to write the LPU NEST exam in order to get admission in LPU. A study of Commerce develops your understanding about the money market and the flow of economy. B.Com degree aims at providing fundamental education in business and management principles. The B.Com course allows students to specialize in one of the multiple specialisation areas, such as international business, finance, real estate, computer information systems, marketing or accounting. LPU offers two courses of commerce in graduation:- (1) B.Com ELIGIBILITY: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. (2) B.Com (Hons). : ELIGIBILITY: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. NOTE: One must have English as a main subject in intermediate. One can also complete the graduation in commerce and alongside pursue advance courses in languages mentioned above.
